About The Position
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CT systems, particularly GE or Apex scanners , and be proficient in contrast administration.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (required)
- Active New York State Radiography License (required)
- NYS certification to administer contrast media (required)
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (required)
- Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience (required)
- Must maintain continuing education (CE) credits per ARRT guidelines
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Apex CT scanner (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with clinical standards
- Operate CT scanners (GE/Apex preferred)
- Administer contrast media safely and effectively
- Ensure image quality and patient safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Follow all departmental and regulatory guidelines
