About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-volume acute care imaging department in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This role requires independent clinical judgment and technical expertise in performing CT procedures across a broad patient population, from neonates to geriatric patients. The CT Tech works under the direction of a Radiologist and is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire).
Acute care CT experience (required for FSED assignments).

Nice To Haves

ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) registry.
Strong technical and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform CT and general radiology procedures according to physician orders.
Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Apply ionizing radiation in accordance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
Ensure proper patient positioning and image acquisition quality.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic accuracy.
Adhere to quality control, safety, and compliance standards.
