Hours: Days 8:00am -4:30pm M-F rotating every other weekend and holiday among team Area: Radiology- Computer Tomography Location: Loyola Medicine, Maywood, IL About the Job Performs CT procedures using independent judgment and technical skill to produce high‑quality diagnostic images. Ensures safe, accurate, and efficient care while adhering to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.

Requirements

1–2 years of related experience
Associate’s Degree or equivalent training
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA)
Computer Assisted Tomography (CT Technologist)
CPR from American Heart Association (ONLY)
ARRT CT certification required within 13 months of hire (agency staff must have CT certification at start)

Responsibilities

Perform CT exams according to departmental protocols to produce high‑quality diagnostic images, including 3‑D reconstructions.
Explain procedures, obtain relevant patient history, and ensure accurate patient identification.
Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and comfort measures while promoting safety and following universal precautions.
Administer IV contrast and monitor for reactions, following contrast safety guidelines.
