About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging in accordance with prescribed protocols. The role requires attention to patient safety, high-quality imaging, and strict adherence to radiation safety standards (ALARA). The CT Technologist will also perform quality control, maintain documentation, and assist with radiopharmaceutical administration as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T)
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
• BLS Certification
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Proficient in English (Speak, Read, Write)
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Reliable and punctual with flexible approach to work schedules
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following established protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy
• Apply appropriate kV and mA techniques for diagnostic imaging quality
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on equipment
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data for Radiologist review
• Prepare, label, and administer radiopharmaceutical doses per physician orders
• Report equipment issues and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Assist with quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests
