About The Position

About the role: The Cultivation Supervisor facilitates and oversees daily cultivation operations within the Cultivation facility, ensuring efficient workflow, plant health, environmental consistency, and team productivity. This role works closely with Cultivation Managers to implement and uphold all standard operating procedures while directly supporting propagation, vegetation, flowering, and post-harvest activities. The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for monitoring room performance, training and coaching team members, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. This position serves as Leader on Duty in the absence of Cultivation Managers, including weekends, vacations, and other off-shift periods, ensuring operational continuity and team oversight. This is a full-time leadership role requiring weekend coverage and open availability.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED required. Must be minimum 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cultivation, manufacturing, production, or similar environment required.
  • Knowledge of Arizona marijuana laws and regulations or willingness to learn.
  • Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of AZDHS, HIPAA, and Arizona State.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee workflow in cultivation rooms and assign daily tasks based on business needs.
  • Train, coach, and develop cultivation team members on SOPs, production standards, and compliance expectations.
  • Monitor plant health, environmental controls, and production output to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and count records.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of plant growth, pathogens, and environmental disturbances.
  • Audit tools, materials, and resources to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Support hands-on cultivation tasks including transplanting, watering, pruning, defoliation, IPM applications, and harvest support as needed.
  • Ensure team members follow IPM schedules and utilize appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain a sanitary environment by enforcing cleaning and sanitation SOPs in all growth rooms.
  • Escalate technical, plant health, or personnel concerns to management as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with all cannabis regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform Cultivation Technician duties to support production coverage.
  • Serve as Leader on Duty during manager absences, including required weekend coverage.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
