About The Position

CUP Operator Position Summary As a Team Member of the Engineering team, the CUP Operator is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The CUP Operator is responsible for maintaining all equipment, installations, and all related components as directed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Knowledge and ability to understand, work with, make minor repairs to and troubleshoot all systems within a complex facility.
  • General understanding of all major building systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heat, and cooling equipment.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment and ability to diagnose operational malfunctions.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Problem‐solving and critical thinking.
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining business standards.
  • Demonstrate a flock mentality, focused on teamwork and collaboration with others.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external Guests while leveraging the knowledge of the position and the business, ensuring a clucktastic experience for all.

  • 2 + years of trade school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Check for proper functioning of boilers, chillers, supply & return pumps, fans, cooling towers, water softeners, & water recirculation pump operations.
  • Monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and perform unscheduled maintenance of boilers, fan room equipment, cooling towers, and other engine room equipment and systems.
  • Make emergency repairs and adjustments to building system components as necessary.
  • Maintain heaters, chillers, pumps, fan coil units, etc.
  • Perform safety checks on related equipment as necessary.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations and governmental agency directives.
  • Understand and utilize safety procedures (such as lock‐out/tag‐out) and safety equipment at all times.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
