About The Position

In support of the university’s mission and objectives, the Curriculum Coordinator assists in the coordination, implementation, and management of all aspects of the didactic curriculum for our PA students, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and program mission, goals, and learning outcomes. Administrative Assists the Director of Didactic Education with the coordination and facilitation of curriculum content in the didactic year. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum that supports the program’s mission, goals, and learning outcomes. Assists the Director of Didactic Education with the monitoring of overall student performance in the didactic year. Provides oversight and coordination of didactic courses schedule. Manages all facility logistical arrangements for lectures, labs, and small group activities in didactic year. Supervises the delivery of assessments, ensuring proper parameters per assessment. Oversees schedule oversites and collaborates with students on class logistics. Operations Participates in the development of procedure mechanisms for all didactic course-related activities, such as sending deadline reminders, following up with course directors/course instructors, etc. Coordinates, monitors, and participates in didactic course labs run by faculty and/or students during class time. Assists in didactic course lab inventory, ordering, and storage of supplies. Monitors and facilitates didactic course content on Canvas and CORE Comp MS. Stays current with trends and best practices, relative to PA didactic education. Partners with faculty to ensure proper facilitation of courses with students. Assists in proctoring didactic course assessments. Processes expenses through the expense management system. Service Participates in planning and execution of student events such as, but not limited to, orientation, white coat ceremony, commencement, etc. Assists with university events as needed, which include occasional evening and weekend commitments. Serves as a resource to student government and provides administrative support as needed. Program Participates in all aspects of the program self-study process, including data collection related to didactic curriculum. Assists with designs, specifications and improvements to program resources, supplies, space, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, required or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience, required
