Working with the Curator for The Dance Archive (TDA), Archivist, and K-12 educators, the Curriculum Development Assistant is a part-time, non-benefitted, temporary position responsible for the creation and adaptation of K-12 educational state dance standards-aligned curricula that incorporates collection materials from The Dance Archive (TDA). The ideal candidate will have some instructional or instructional support experience in teaching dance or movement in a classroom, studio, or similar educational space, and creating and/or adapting instructional materials for instructional use. This position will provide practical, hands-on experience working directly with archival materials to develop engaging instructional experiences. Work may be done on campus or remotely, but the employee will have to provide their own internet access for remote work. The initial work period (1-3 months) will require the employee to work directly with the Curator, Archivist, and K-12 Educators and will require on-campus time. This is a temporary position with an appointment length of at least six months, with renewal dependent on continued funding. This is a non-benefitted position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
