The Corporations Division approves corporate names and grants corporate or limited liability company status to entities organizing under the laws of the State of Arizona; grants authority to foreign corporations and limited liability companies to transact business in the State; collects annual reports from all corporations of record; and maintains records for the benefit of public record and service of process. You will examine and file or otherwise process corporation and limited liability company documents in accordance with requirements set forth in Titles 10 and 29 (limited liability companies) of the Arizona Revised Statutes, applicable administrative rules and regulations, and A.C.C. policies and procedures. Additionally, you staff a walk-up customer service window as a cashier for customers filing corporation and limited liability company documents at the Division. This involves the ability to handle and count cash and other forms of payment, data entry of payment and document information, and understanding and advising customers on statutory filing requirements as interpreted by the Division.
