About The Position
The Custodial Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within various facilities across the United States. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks that ensure the health and safety standards are consistently met. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their safe usage.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

- Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to custodial work.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in assigned areas.
- Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of germs.
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure availability for building occupants.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks during cleaning operations.
- Assist with setup and cleanup for special events or meetings as needed.
