About The Position

We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of part-time permanent Custodial Worker within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at East Fork State Park, assigned to Clermont County. This is a part-time position budgeted for 1600 hours per fiscal year (approximately 30 hours per week). This position will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. What you will do... Work outside in some of the most beautiful parks in Ohio Interact daily with a variety of customers who utilize the park & watercraft facilities Perform custodial & housekeeping duties such as cleaning restrooms, offices, campgrounds, service centers, park buildings, & shower houses, cleaning fire rings & grills, removing trash, order supplies Remove snow & ice from walkways (shovel and spreading salt) Perform laundry tasks using industrial washers and dryers Starting hourly pay of $18.87/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 2.5 years of service, with an end salary of $20.17/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. Requirements

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary.
In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2), revised code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities
