About The Position

The EWTN Custodian helps care for our campus by ensuring our buildings remain clean, welcoming, and well maintained for all who enter. This role supports our mission by being a good steward of our resources and reflecting our commitment to service and hospitality.

Requirements

• At least one year of custodial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience
• Able to follow specific instructions and established procedures
• Can safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment, including buffers
• Possess a valid Alabama driver’s license
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds or more as needed
• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Available to work scheduled hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the option to start earlier if needed

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and orderly environment by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairwells, restrooms, and break rooms
• Emptying wastebaskets
• Dusting furniture and equipment
• Washing windows, door panels, and sills
• Ensuring restrooms and break rooms are fully stocked with supplies
• Cleaning all break room areas
• Performing periodic interior and exterior cleaning of fleet vans
• Maintaining regular and punctual attendance for assigned shifts
• Completing additional duties as assigned
