Custodian (Part-time, Nights/Early Morning, Flexible)
About The Position
Under moderate supervision performs janitorial duties that involve cleaning and sanitizing the building and maintenance of its grounds. Work may involve a variety of physical demands. Position will require working at our Negaunee location after normal business hours. You set your hours! Anytime between 5pm and 9am. Work late evenings or early mornings. Whichever works best for your schedule. Work 3-5 days per week, flexible in exact days. Estimated 1-2 hours each day (5-10 hours per week). You can even change your working hours each night to accommodate your life schedule.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and use a step ladder
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform daily tasks with no to moderate supervision
- Must be a motivated self-starter
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- General cleaning and light maintenance
- Outdoor labor, including shoveling, grounds keeping, window cleaning etc.
- Maintaining stock of cleaning supplies
- Closing and securing all rooms and building daily
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor pertaining to maintenance of the building or grounds
