The Custody Documentation Administrator is a part of the Shared Services Regulatory team which provides operational support to UMB's fast growing Institutional Custody department. Within the Shared Services environment, this team interacts with various UMB clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests for the onboarding of new business, provide subject matter expertise and other duties as assigned. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the team provides a high level of service to our internal & external partners. The Custody Documentation Administrator is integral to the successful completion of client on-boarding set-ups for alternative investments and global accounts in over 90 markets, as well as fostering key relationships with our internal customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for soliciting tax documentation from clients and will assist in opening and maintenance of custody accounts in the countries of investments of the funds. The Shared Services team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. You are valued for who you are in a fun, professional setting. We are medium sized team that works closely together to ensure everyone is successful. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunity within Shared Services and beyond. Must be willing to be in the office when needed for items requiring physical documentation (generally 4 days/week). Large cubical environment-must be able to work in close proximity to other associates.
