About the Role You will be part of a team designing various custom circuits on Altera FPGAs such as PLLs and clocking circuits, regulators, ADC, IO circuits etc and will get an opportunity to work with senior designers on analog and digital circuit sub-blocks such as amplifiers, comparators, oscillators, counters etc.

Requirements

  • To be qualified, candidates must be working towards their Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field, plus have 3+ months of experience/coursework in: Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design or Custom Circuit Design
  • Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in any of the following: Digital/Logic design
  • Matlab modeling
  • Scripting in C++/Perl/Python/TCL
  • Strong data analysis, excellent verbal, documentation and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Custom analog/digital circuit design, layout interaction, extraction, simulations, performance/reliability/high voltage analysis
  • Validate design implementation and assumptions with simulations
  • Help run formal checks such as UPF and ERC, timing and power modeling
  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment
  • Automate design tasks in order to complete the design in the most efficient fashion possible.
