What you will do: As a Custom Painter, you will routinely make paint-related repairs to prime product prior to PDI. You may occasionally be required to coat custom fabricated structures, racking, vehicles, etc. You will follow all required safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Equipment paint processing experience OR a paint-related certificate or degree (trade school / technical degree)
  • Experience in topcoat, prime coat, and electrostatic paint.
  • Experience mixing liquid/multi-part paint.
  • Experience with sanding, blending, feathering, and other paint repair procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of cure times, temperature curves, contamination control.
  • Experience with running thread taps.
  • Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of liquid paint experience, preferably in touch up painting.
  • Experience in automotive paint/body repair.

Responsibilities
