About The Position

The Customer Care Representative I interact with customers on the phone and in person to create new accounts, update account information, create work orders and answer account or service questions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Professional phone and personal demeanor
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite – e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work weekend and holiday shifts, as scheduled

Nice To Haves

  • Payment processing experience
  • Call center experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from assigned queues, resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Make outbound customer calls as needed.
  • Create new accounts and update existing account information in the customer database.
  • Enter payments, assist with basic billing questions and send notices of expired or declined credit cards.
  • Enter customer work orders and associated service charges as needed on customer accounts.
  • Perform any research required to resolve issues as they arise with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Transfer calls to individuals and departments and escalate calls to supervisors appropriately.
  • Review and respond to personal voicemails and e-mails in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to sales, operations staff and other internal constituents as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
