About The Position

The Customer Service Inside Sales position works under the direction of the Training Manager and is responsible for day-to-day customer service and sales duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: call assigned accounts to determine product needs, maintain contact info for accounts, take and communicate customer service calls, document special delivery needs, manage customer database and serve as contact to select retailers. Review phone messages and e-mails, communicate special needs to appropriate department, manager or other personnel. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Cover Dock Sales: Create invoices for incoming internal and external customers as needed Balance money at end of day Monitor specials board and update as necessary Help maintain beverage and clothing inventory levels Cover front desk for incoming calls as necessary Cover Saturday Dock Sales on a rotating basis Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as needed to fulfill all job responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Ability to analyze and present information.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
