About The Position

Toyota of Cool Springs is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Estimator apprentice. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our vehicles meet the high standards of quality that Toyota is known for. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles throughout the production process to identify any defects or issues, and work with the production team to resolve them. You will also offer administrative assistance to our estimators and provide great customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch products to our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in quality control preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive industry and quality standards a plus
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends or overtime if needed
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles at various stages of production, including visual examination and use of testing equipment as well as providing administrative assistance to the estimators.
  • Provide great customer service to our customer via updates and assistance
  • Document and report any defects or issues found during inspections
  • Communicate with production team to address and resolve any quality concerns.
  • Conduct final inspections on completed vehicles before they are sent to dealerships
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
  • Assist with developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest quality control techniques and technologies
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address quality improvement opportunities
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the production floor
