About The Position

This role supports a primary care facility located on the north side of Indianapolis. The office operates seven days a week and requires someone who excels in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable navigating evolving and unexpected challenges. The ideal candidate is patient‑focused, adaptable, and committed to delivering compassionate, high‑quality service. Requirements

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast‑paced setting
  • Customer service experience (especially in high volume/fast-paced settings).
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • No experience required (training provided)
  • Ability to type 30+ words per minute
  • Basic working knowledge of computers and ability to navigate multiple systems

Nice To Haves

  • Medical office, or insurance experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology or medical coding preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients
  • Clearly explain processes, procedures, and next steps to patients
  • Apply strong problem‑solving skills to address patient needs
  • Follow detailed and stringent clinical and administrative protocols
  • Respond to patient inquiries by phone and email
  • Determine appropriate solutions while adhering to organizational guidelines
  • Coordinate issue resolution with other departments as needed
  • Collect and enter patient demographic and billing information
  • Assist with scheduling and database updates
