About The Position

Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No weekends or holidays Onsite position Location Riley Outpatient Center Top Responsibilities Process and manage internal and external referrals Provide phone coverage and respond to patient inquiries Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families Maintain a full and accurate clinic schedule Respond to patient inquiries via telephone and email, determining appropriate resolution methods in alignment with patient needs and organizational guidelines Coordinate issue resolution with internal departments as needed Collect and document patient demographic and billing information for scheduling and database entry Top Skills for Success Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities Compassion, kindness, and empathy when interacting with patients and families Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; no prior experience necessary
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic office technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy when interacting with patients and families
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred
