Customer Service Representative - Insurance Processing

Requirements
- Experience in residential real estate lending, residential loan processing, loan closing, and/or loan servicing preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or call center environment preferred
- Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize and perform job responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails to process customer requests related to their insurance requirements and escrow inquiries
- Maintain friendly, professional, and helpful interactions with IHFA’s borrowers
- Work with the insurance servicing vendor to update borrower insurance information
- Complete various reports to maintain borrowers' active insurance
- Follow Agency guidelines for insurance processing
- Provide backup support for customer service calls as needed
- Other job duties as assigned
