Provides outstanding customer service over the phone and in person to ensure patients receive their recurring medical supplies and equipment in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office Outlook experience
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to use multiple computer programs and operating systems
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change
  • Excellent attention to details with good follow-through
  • Strong ability to work independently along with being a solid team player

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word experience
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a prompt, professional and courteous manner over the phone and in person
  • Call, email and text patients and customers.
  • Answer calls, emails and texts to determine medical supply reorder needs and answer questions
  • Assist patients with product selection based on need, insurance coverage and medical documentation
  • Assist customers to create and submit reoccurring supply orders for approvals
  • Enter patient information into the company's operating system; obtain and verify appropriate insurance information
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of medical supply and equipment coverage guidelines for all qualifying insurances and apply accordingly when processing customer orders
  • Work with patients and third-party vendor to collect payments
  • Maintain the ProActive Living resupply list accurately and timely
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
