Barkaritaville Pet Resort of Corpus Christi, TX is looking to hire a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist to provide 5-star service that gets people talking and tails wagging. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST As a Customer Service Specialist, you arrive each day doggedly determined to provide quality and efficient customer service to every client--both two-legged and four-legged. As the first point of contact for most of our services, you play an essential role in establishing trust with both current and future clients. You are always professional as you take reservations, answer questions, and resolve concerns both in person and over the phone. As you check animals in for services, you greet clients warmly, listen carefully, and ensure that each pet parent's instructions and needs are addressed. You handle client billing and daily cash reports with attention to detai l and accuracy. Since pet care is the core of our operations, you also assist with all aspects of pet care as needed. You thrive in this busy, fast-paced environment where there are always pets and people to interact with, as well as phones to answer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service Experience 3+years
  • Phone skills
  • Computer literacy with the ability to use in-house software, e-mail, Word, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to learn and remember information accurately
  • Highly Organized
  • Ability to handle animals humanely and gently at all times
  • Passion for people and pets
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Team player
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Since stability is important for animals, little or no absenteeism is extremely important
