About The Position

Summary: The Customer Service Representative will engage in all customer service activities including responding to inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have proven quality driven work habits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
  • Problem solving
  • Bachelor’s Degree, strongly desired
  • 1-3 years experience in business related customer service role

Responsibilities

  • Daily communication with customers regarding timelines, deliverables and all other customer service related topics.
  • Process customer orders in the ERP system and confirm stock, provide price confirmation, delivery date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer for their production schedules.
  • Managing discontinued items and holds are removed to ensure proper shipping.
  • Receive customer complaints and coordinate product return/complaint resolution with the returns department.
  • Answer incoming calls and address question or direct to responsible party
  • Monitor order shipping times to ensure they are meeting the average turnaround time
  • Locate order errors and contact the customer for clarification.
  • Compile statistical analysis and prepare various reports as requested internally or by customers.
  • Communicate new product offerings to select customers.
  • Update inventory, new product builds, and SKU numbers on select customer’s site.
  • Create new customer reports indicating pricing changes.
  • Attend weekly rep calls and work directly with the clients on follow up activities.
  • Manages stewardship on smaller accounts.
  • Build rapport with customers to increase sales.
