About The Position

This is a safety sensitive position; all team members have the responsibility for their own safety and those around them. Per company policy, being under the influence is not permitted while on Company premises. Team member must be clear minded and diligent while operating machinery. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Receive daily work order assignments from Supervisor and prepare fabric set-up in accordance with work orders. Ability to solve problems and work with a team to continuously improve production processes and achieve daily production goals. Must maintain quality assurance standards. Must be able to communicate with Supervisor to assist with problem solving. Housekeeping of all areas. Anything else deemed necessary by the supervisor. 1. Level 1: Team member must be able to load and unload material racks, must be able to assist in loading of cutter as required and assist Level 2 Operators as needed. Must be able to follow process to turn cutters on & off. Must consistently achieve quality level of 97% and productions efficiency levels of 80% efficiency within 90-day probationary period; must assume personal responsibility for achieving quality goals and demonstrate continuous improvement towards achieving 100% efficiency on assigned work within 6 months. AUTHORITY: ALL PERSONNEL ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR QUALITY AND THEREFORE HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO STOP PRODUCTION, IF NECESSARY, TO CORRECT QUALITY PROBLEMS.

Requirements

Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
Able to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
Able to comply with company safety, attendance and all other company policies.
Good communication skills both with peers and supervisors.
Must be computer literate.
Must be able to read and write English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to utilize data collection systems which may include data entry into a tablet or computer.
Must have full knowledge of lay-up and/or prep procedures prior to running Cutting equipment.
Must have 20/20 vision or correction to 20/20.
Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.
Must be able to stand or sit entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on continuous basis.
Must be able to work in moderate noise levels.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stoop, squat, bend, stretch and twist.
