About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular surgical procedures within a high-performing surgical team. The technologist will assist surgeons and nursing staff by maintaining sterile environments, preparing surgical instruments, and ensuring efficient operating room workflow to support safe and successful surgical outcomes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires after 2009).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification .
• Accepted National Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – NBSTSA Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) – NCCT Certification recognized by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST)

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support during cardiovascular surgical procedures for diverse patient populations.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment .
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
• Perform assigned unit tasks in coordination with the RN following clinical protocols.
• Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and organization of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Utilize electronic systems for documentation and surgical workflow support.
