About The Position

The Cybersecurity Analyst III will lead efforts in identifying, evaluating, and remediating complex cyber threats. This senior-level role involves proactive monitoring, detailed analysis, and escalation of potential security events. The Analyst III will also partner with business users to integrate advanced cybersecurity protections and will play a key role in incident response and mentorship of junior analysts. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Extensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Experience with advanced network security, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and administering a variety of networks, Operating Systems (OSs), and applications.
  • Strong knowledge and experience administering a variety of current Microsoft platforms.
  • Knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced cybersecurity tools like Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Proven track record in threat hunting and vulnerability management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret security and technical documentation.
  • Proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality of high-sensitivity projects and data.
  • Ability to perform critical-incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive analysis of network traffic, security events, and alerts.
  • Develop and implement advanced security measures and policies.
  • Perform advanced threat hunting and vulnerability management.
  • Manage and lead in-depth investigations of complex security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate and enhance security protocols.
  • Oversee regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts and staff on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Create detailed reports and documentation for management.
  • Lead cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
