About The Position

RelaDyne, Inc. is the established leader in lubricant sales, distribution, equipment reliability services, and value-added services. We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure across our enterprise IT environment. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex security challenges and collaborating with a high-performing IT team. The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across RelaDyne’s IT systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments. This role focuses on system hardening, secure architecture, and advanced troubleshooting while partnering closely with IT operations to strengthen the company’s overall security posture.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and cloud security tools
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Experience supporting compliance audits and working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools
  • Understanding of threat detection, adversary tactics (TTPs), and incident response practices
  • Expertise in secure network, application, and infrastructure architecture
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
  • Ability to work both independently and within a fast-paced team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure
  • At least 3 years focused on cybersecurity engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or Microsoft security certifications
  • Experience with hybrid cloud security environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise security technologies including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM integrations, and vulnerability management tools
  • Engineer and maintain secure configurations for Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, SQL, and Citrix environments
  • Develop automation and orchestration scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to improve detection, response, and remediation workflows
  • Configure and administer network and cloud security controls such as firewalls, VPNs, conditional access, and zero-trust policies
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and business teams
  • Lead incident response investigations requiring advanced system and network analysis
  • Collaborate with System Administrator teams to enforce secure build standards and patch management processes
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy new security technologies to strengthen enterprise protection
  • Provide expertise in security architecture and system design reviews
  • Support the technical components of compliance initiatives (PCI, SOC 2, NIST)
