About The Position

If you are a student passionate about product cybersecurity and looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting internship opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN office, as a Cybersecurity Engineering Intern with our Cross-Portfolio Technology and Innovation team, you will support cybersecurity efforts across wireless and cross-portfolio products. You’ll work closely with the Senior Product Security Lead and the Lead Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance Engineer to complete a project that strengthens the security posture of Emerson’s products and supports regulatory compliance initiatives. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Collaborate with the Product Security team to enhance cybersecurity across Emerson’s product portfolio. Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding practices. Support efforts to meet regulatory compliance requirements. Participate in agile development processes and contribute to secure software/firmware development. Communicate findings and recommendations through persuasive writing and effective verbal communication. Engage in empathetic thinking to understand user and stakeholder needs. Learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a real-world product environment. Work in a team-oriented setting and contribute to a collaborative culture. For This Role, You Will Need: Pursuing Bachelors in engineering Zero (0) years of applicable experience Legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: GPA of 3.0 or above Prior internship experience An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Requirements
