About The Position

Cybersecurity Specialist, Onboarding is Kaseya’s first line of customer engagement for our 24/7/365 Managed Security Operations Center (SOC). This entry-level role is focused on providing a premium onboarding experience, configuration assistance, security best practices, and alert review for new Managed SOC customers. Your ability to provide a cheerful, positive, and supportive experience while working with customers with limited security backgrounds is critical to your success. This role’s career path may lead in several directions, including into the SOC. This position is ideal for individuals with a demonstrable cybersecurity background looking to join a market-leading company and a next-generation SOC focused on making a real difference in our customers’ lives.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity.
  • Outgoing, upbeat, and friendly personality that enjoys face-to-face communication.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed with difficult customers.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of OSes, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned customers.
  • Daily/weekly status updates and time tracking may be required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications like CompTIA CySA+ / Security+, ISC2 CC, or ISACA CCOA (or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Provide an unparalleled premium and responsive onboarding experience.
  • Follow Kaseya’s Security Onboarding process.
  • Manage numerous onboarding/re-onboarding projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of the engagement process.
  • You may perform initial alert review during onboarding engagement to identify existing threats and/or tune the system alerts.
  • Communicate technical security concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Address client inquiries via phone, email, or tickets.
  • This position will be evaluated based on customer feedback as well as other metrics.
  • Perform tasks without supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.
