About The Position

Cybersecurity Policy Analyst and Coordinator The Opportunity: Provide support, execution, and management services to a high visibility DoD information assurance client. Provide onsite policy and technical analytical support for cybersecurity policy compliance, high risk package reviews, and risk management framework continuous monitoring. Assist with coordinating with key stakeholders, briefing leadership on system risk, and providing analytical support for system high risk authorization requests. Participate in internal and external cybersecurity policy working groups, support the advocacy of Navy interests, and track key actions for leadership. Prepare memorandums, decision packages, point papers, briefings, and messages. Conduct in-depth reviews of DoD and Joint staff manuals and instructions to assess security, operational, and resource impact and develop technical content. Review authorization paperwork and documents and develop the DoD guidance, workflows, and templates required for the RMF for DoD IT.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a CIO office, such as cybersecurity governance, IT portfolio management, or data management
  • Experience with the DoD or Navy
  • Experience with strategic communications and facilitating meeting forums with multiple external stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and brief material to senior client leadership to support decision-making
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IT Cybersecurity policy, compliance, and standards for the Navy or DoD
