About The Position

As a Cybersecurity Programs Community Coordinator (CPCC), this role supports
Cyber Florida’s Critical Infrastructure (CIP) Program by serving as a front-line
engagement and execution partner to CIP  Manager.

The CPCC works directly with public- and private-sector organizations to drive
adoption, completion, and effective use of Cyber Bulls-i and the Florida Cyber
Risk Assessment, while maintaining strong relationships with technical staff,
operational leadership, and executive stakeholders.

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively across audiences
and support non-technical users, engaging technical practitioners, and
reinforcing executive-level objectives. This position operates under the
technical direction and strategic priorities set by the CIP Manager.

Job Summary

Utilizing Cyber Bulls-i, the Florida Cyber Risk Assessment, and Cyber Florida
resources, the Cybersecurity Programs Community Coordinator supports statewide
efforts to assess and strengthen cybersecurity maturity across Florida’s
critical infrastructure sectors. This includes analyzing engagement and
assessment data to identify trends and inform program improvements and
representing Cyber Florida at workshops and partner events to promote adoption
and advance cybersecurity risk awareness.

The CPCC focuses on outreach, engagement, onboarding, and sustained
participation, particularly among under-resourced sectors and communities,
ensuring organizations understand the value of assessment completion and how
results connect to actionable resources, training, and services.

In addition, you will provide value to organizations by:

Assisting with information security planning and management activities.
Advising on organizational and management structures related to
cybersecurity.
Supporting initiatives affecting information practices.
Managing security risk and evaluating third parties with access to
organizational data.

Overall, your role as a Cybersecurity Programs Community Coordinator will be
instrumental in driving cybersecurity resilience and community support across
various sectors and communities in Florida.
