Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in cybersecurity, risk, or compliance
  • Minimum 5 years leading security or GRC teams
  • Experience building and executing cybersecurity roadmaps
  • Audit program leadership (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar)
  • Security engineering and cloud security experience
  • Familiarity with leading security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS)
  • Incident response and risk management experience
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Ability to translate business objectives into security strategy
  • Proven team-building and leadership capability

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in professional services, accounting, or financial services
  • Microsoft security ecosystem familiarity
  • GRC platform experience
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi year cybersecurity roadmap aligned to business objectives
  • Conduct risk assessments and prioritize mitigation initiatives
  • Establish security metrics and executive reporting dashboards
  • Drive annual security planning and resource alignment
  • Own ISO 27001 and SOC 2 programs and audit readiness
  • Maintain effective security controls and documentation
  • Oversee vulnerability management and remediation efforts
  • Support regulatory and client security requirements
  • Expand cybersecurity capabilities beyond compliance into proactive security engineering
  • Lead incident response readiness and containment practices
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams on secure architecture
  • Advance cloud security strategy across Azure, AWS, and SaaS environments
  • Build and develop a high-performing cybersecurity and GRC team
  • Establish clear prioritization, intake, and decision governance processes
  • Provide clear, actionable risk guidance to executive leadership
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across IT and business units
