The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting Kia Georgia’s information systems, networks, and data from internal and external cyber threats. This role focuses on risk assessment, incident response, policy development, security operations, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls in a manufacturing and corporate IT environment. The specialist serves as a subject matter expert supporting compliance, operational security, and security awareness initiatives across the organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze IT and system specifications to identify security risks and vulnerabilities; conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing Monitor security events, logs, and alerts across multiple security platforms; triage and respond to incidents including malware infections and privacy breaches. Maintain and enforce information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory requirements. Identify, evaluate, and implement new security technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance the organization’s security posture Support and coordinate security audits, risk reviews, and compliance activities; provide required documentation and evidence. Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and deliver security awareness training to employees as needed. Collaborate with IT, OT (Operational Technology), and business teams to support secure operations in both office and production environments Perform additional cybersecurity and IT security-related duties as assigned.
