About The Position

This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting operational efficiency across the facility. This position is responsible for the safe operation of forklift & reach lift trucks, used to move, locate, relocate, stack and count materials and products, components and finished goods inventory, ground and elevated levels in the warehouse, shipping, and production areas. This function serves as both a measure and corrective action maintaining high inventory record accuracy (99%). Requirements

  • Experience operating forklift, reach lift, or stock picker (required)
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in tight spaces on electric or propane equipment
  • Basic computer and clerical skills
  • A safety-first mindset and team-oriented attitude
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment and be available after hours if required.
  • Must be able to work in all storage environments including cold and freezer temperatures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk distances 200 yards or more.
  • Ability to walk or stand for an entire shift (8 to 10 hours).
  • Must be comfortable regularly using forklift, reach lift, and/or stock picker at all tiers which may include significant heights.

Nice To Haves

  • 6–12 months experience using RF scanning equipment (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Use RF scanners to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Investigate and locate missing inventory (“search & rescue”)
  • Verify Handling Unit (HU) quantities and batch information
  • Rotate and consolidate product to maximize storage efficiency
  • Operate forklifts, reach lifts, and/or stock pickers as needed
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain safety standards
  • Work in multi-temperature environments (-10°F to 90°F)
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, organized warehouse
