About the RolePURPOSE The D&C Inventory Superintendent leads, coaches and develops the D&C Inventory Team in the strategic planning, execution and assurance of materials management activities in support of drilling and completions activities across the International Region.Duties and ResponsibilitiesKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead interface with multiple D&C Operations Teams and Suppliers in support of D&C activities across International Business Influence D&C Leadership to align WIL strategies, inventory forecasts, disposals and material strategies Manage, engage and enable D&C Inventory Team to deliver against performance targets; positively influence and shape culture to ensure a safe, sustainable and disciplined approach to work Develop and execute materials management strategy of D&C material Manage execution and expectations of stakeholders through fast changing environments with significant activity changes through market fluctuations & rig schedule changes Provide necessary leadership that will ensure WMS processes are understood, valued and adhered to. Ensures compliance and leads improvement of operating standards across all D&C Inventory processes of receiving, issuing, storage, inventory optimization, disposals, working capital targets, etc. Sets and communicates clear targets, work plans and expectations to team. Interface closely with Supply sub-functions to ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams. Manage material disposals and subsequent sales to 3rd party buyers in support of inventory optimization strategies

Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically to deliver long term outcomes.

  • Solves complex problems with materials availability through root cause analysis, identification of solutions and influence through positive change management.
  • Knowledge of Woodside’s WMS and SOX controls
  • Ability to approach problems with an understanding of the broad implications for the business (technical, financial, legal, reputational)
  • Understanding of process assurance to mitigate financial and operational risk to Woodside
  • Possesses both Commercial and Financial acumen and incorporates into strategic decision making
  • Lives and models the Woodside values
  • Provides a safe to speak up culture
  • 5-10+ years experience in oil and gas industry, Drilling & Completions support a plus
  • Experience in Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics
  • Prior leadership experience in some capacity
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
