About The Position

Description Essential Job Functions Serve as the primary point of contact for all freight damage, loss, and shortage claims from initial report to final resolution. Initiate, track, and manage claims with carriers, working to ensure timely and favorable outcomes. Gather and meticulously organize all necessary documentation, including bill of ladings, proof of delivery, photographs, inspection reports, and sales orders. Communicate regularly and effectively with clients regarding claim status, requirements, and resolutions. Collaborate with internal operations, warehousing, and transportation teams to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures. Process claim payments and credits accurately, ensuring proper accounting procedures are followed. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date claim records in the company's system. Analyze claims data to identify trends and report findings to management for continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in claims management, logistics, transportation, or a related administrative role, preferably within a 3PL environment
