About The Position

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven decisions across Intel's diverse business domains. In this position, you will transform complex business data into actionable insights, empowering stakeholders with innovative visual approaches to make strategic decisions. Your expertise will contribute to Intel's success by designing business intelligence solutions and utilizing data to build compelling narratives that drive strategic improvements. The Data, AI, and Reporting Center of Excellence (DARC) is a team of financial analysts and business intelligence experts who partner closely with Intel IT to create and maintain the Finance Analytics Environment (FAE). The FAE is a series of tabular data models and Power BI reports built on Intel's financial systems of record. As a DARC Data and Reporting Analyst, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Supporting the business intelligence domain and learning from experienced team members. Assisting with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Contributing to technical and business documentation for data structures and processes. Supporting business analysts and requirements gathering activities. Building dashboards and performing testing and validation per established processes. Learning about business intelligence governance, privacy, and security frameworks. Supporting the maintenance of BI interfaces, data visualization, and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, or related field with at least 6 months of relevant experience – OR – Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • This position is not eligible for Intel’s immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and reporting
  • Proficiency with PowerQuery, DAX, Python, or other programming languages
  • Knowledge of Power BI Datasets, Azure Analysis Services, or SQL Server Analysis.
  • Familiarity with database concepts
  • Skills with source control platforms such as GitHub or TFS.
  • Experience with Corporate financial systems and processes, including Close processes, ERP systems, and costing practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
