The Division of Habitat & Species Conservation (HSC) is comprised of six sections and two offices. This position works within the HSC Wildlife and Habitat Management Section’s Land Conservation and Planning (LCP) program. Description: The LCP program is offering an exciting opportunity in land conservation, working closely with land managers across the state to conserve priority land acquisitions, expanding the Florida Wildlife Corridor, and adding to more than six million acres within our Wildlife Management Area system. The working title of this position is Land Acquisition Review Agent. Duties: As a key member of the land conservation team, this role manages LCP and Florida Forever projects from design to completion. It involves expert process management, collaborative decision-making, and coordinating statewide partnerships to drive acquisition, grants, and planning, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders for project success.
