The Data Analyst II analyzes business and operational data, processes, and systems to deliver actionable insights, reporting solutions, and analytics solution designs. This role collaborates with technical teams and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases
  • Expertise in Python or R for data analysis and manipulation
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, validate, and prepare business and operational data from multiple sources
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, database objects, and data pipelines
  • Design and support automated reporting and data visualizations
  • Analyze and interpret business and operational data using statistical and analytical methods
  • Apply emerging data science techniques (e.g., forecasting, predictive modeling) to support decision-making as team capabilities grow
  • Monitor and refine analytical models and reports to maintain accuracy, performance, and relevance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Develop and deepen understanding of plant-floor operations, including how systems, equipment, and processes interact to drive outcomes
  • Troubleshoot data, system, and reporting issues in manufacturing and operational environments
  • Support system implementation, testing, and user training as needed
  • Work with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
