About The Position

itD is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, reporting, and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across growth and partner teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility while supporting large-scale marketing and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SQL, data pipelines, and business intelligence, along with a proven track record of working with very large datasets and independently driving analytical solutions end to end. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • 5+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL).
  • Proven experience designing and building data pipelines and ETL processes at scale.
  • Experience working with very large datasets (millions of rows) across multiple data sources.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools and automated reporting (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy).
  • Experience using Python and/or R for data analysis and processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and guide teams on best practices.

  • Experience operating distributed data extraction, ingestion, and processing systems.
  • Experience supporting marketing, growth, or performance analytics use cases.
  • Strong ability to self-manage projects, set expectations, and deliver in fast-changing environments.
  • Experience partnering closely with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and analytics partners to gather data, metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support large-scale campaign execution and automated reporting.
  • Write high-quality, performant SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and analyze large datasets.
  • Partner with analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues.
  • Establish and guide best practices for data pipelines, reporting standards, and analytics workflows.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
