Data Analyst Internship - Summer 2026

Our Summer Internship Program at TransUnion will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship beginning in May 18, 2026 or June 15, 2026, depending on academic calendar.
Requirements
- Must be graduating by June 2028 or earlier and currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Big Data Technologies including Apache Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, etc.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Strong written language skills and familiarity with technical documents such as data dictionaries and process flow diagrams.
- Able to write instructions and procedural documentation.
- Experience in Linux command-line tools
- Familiarity with interactive data visualization tools like Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development and analysis of identity data using advanced data science techniques.
- Help develop data quality measurement techniques.
- Assist with developing a user interface, geared towards hundreds of data scientists who are using the Big Data platform, in finding various data assets and other capabilities within the platform.
- Produce operational dashboards and reports to manage this critical Big Data platform.
- Update and maintain internal web pages to track and report on data assets.
- Maintain data dictionaries and prepare documentation of data analyses performed.
- Analyze and evaluating new data assets TransUnion is interested in.
