About The Position

RSi is seeking to hire a Data Analyst - Property Support to support our NASA customer with the database records for property maintenance, tracking/traceability, and dispositioning for all assigned property. This role provides expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data and report results in support of the Property Support Lead and property efforts across the contract. Summary of duties includes but is not limited to: Review and validate property data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with source documents, historical records, and applicable standards (FAR, NASA and METTS internal policies). Ensure computer input and output documents conform to establishment policies and procedures; identify errors or discrepancies and correct them or escalate as needed. Maintain and update property databases, ensuring records are current, accurate, and audit ready. Provide accountable property support to custodians, supporting functions such as asset accessions, transfers, and disposition activities. Read and interpret notes or instructions on source documents to detect errors and ensure proper documentation. Coordinate with property management personnel to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Communicate concerns, issues or findings to leadership. Research and advocate for property and data managements best practice.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products, software applications, internet research, and database systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across a diverse team
  • Must meet eligibility for a Public Trust background investigation for government issues credentials and IT access/applicants must be able to pass a security background check per Redstone Arsenal/MSFC requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • Working knowledge of NASA and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple actions and priorities
  • Proficiency with property management systems
