Job Description Data Analysis between data sets to recognize differences and validation Support of Power BI Models to enable KPI tracking Work closely with various cross functional partners to facilitate the issuance of Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Changes. Liaison between Senior Cost Managers and Finance to report accruals and prepaid invoices Create and maintain cashflow dashboards Compile and maintain data for project buyout analytics Maintain weekly updates for minor project budgets Compile and maintain market data on construction material costs for use in buyout evaluations SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable

Requirements

  • Strong and proven capability using excel to analyze large data sets
  • Experience with Power BI and other modeling software platforms.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical, creative thinking, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Power BI
  • Works well in a team environment and independently, gives and receives clear expectations well
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Expertise in using professional data analysis and visualization tools, along with proficiency in programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with construction management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Certification in data analysis or related fields.
