As a Seasonal Data Analytics Intern at One Community Bank, you'll immerse yourself in our newly implemented Qlik analytics platform, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with enterprise banking data. This position is designed for students pursuing degrees in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields who are eager to understand how data and reporting empower business decision-making in the financial sector. Your essential duties will include assisting with data ingestion from various source systems, performing data validation to ensure accuracy, and organizing data models within Qlik to facilitate robust reporting and analytics. You'll work closely with our Enterprise Analytics team to develop and enhance reports and dashboards, while also documenting critical data sources and collaborating to resolve data issues. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a professional environment while adhering to vital data governance and security standards.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write basic queries
- Exposure to business intelligence or data visualization tools like Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau
- A solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A genuine interest in analytics within the banking sector
