About The Position

A Data & Operations Coordinator at Salt Productions helps to maintain and optimize our digital workspace. In this role, you will be responsible for executing our file structure standards within Google Drive, ensuring data is accurately transferred between systems, and assisting various departments with day-to-day data collection and entry.

Requirements

• Process-Oriented: You enjoy the satisfaction of turning a disorganized set of files into a logical, structured system.
• Google Workspace Proficiency: Strong familiarity with Google Drive shortcuts, folder management, and Google Sheets for basic data tracking.
• Reliability & Accuracy: High attention to detail when performing repetitive data entry or file-moving tasks to prevent errors.
• Adaptability: Ability to learn the specific data needs and software of different departments to provide effective support.
• Background: This is an entry-level position; prior experience in an office environment or with digital organization is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or IT is helpful.

Responsibilities

• File Organization: Implement established folder hierarchies and naming conventions across Google Drive to ensure all team members can find documents quickly.
• Data Migration & Entry: Manually transfer data between platforms that do not sync automatically, such as moving information from emails or spreadsheets into a central database.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Help teams collect missing information and ensure it is properly formatted and stored according to company guidelines.
• Audit & Maintenance: Regularly review folders to reorganize misplaced files and identify duplicate records to maintain a clean digital environment.
• System Updates: Input and update client or project information across various software tools to ensure high data integrity.
