As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for the organization’s data strategy, data governance, and data infrastructure. You’ll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches, analyzing data architecture needs, and working with project client senior staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments. In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools and programming languages to design database structure and assess data models, data warehouse applications, and business intelligence reports. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered. Requirements

2+ years of experience with Cloud-based data platforms
Experience with data modeling, design, and implementation, and system administration
Experience developing high-performance database applications and enterprise solutions
Experience analyzing and transforming data requirements into functional business reports with the use of Business Intelligence tools, including Python and SQL
Ability to assess, design, and implement internal organization process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience designing data pipeline architecture for data ingestion into Big Data and multi-Cloud platforms
Experience with containerization using tools such as Docker
Knowledge of Agile management processes
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
