About The Position

Data Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Raleigh, NC): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Data Architecture Manager in Raleigh, NC, and the job duties are as follows: Manage and optimize ETL for Data ecosystem (Data warehouse, Data products, Operational data store, MDM platforms), including software upgrades, patch installation, and performance tuning. Oversee data migration projects, ensuring accurate and timely data transfer between systems. Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency. Provide Level 2/3 support for ETL issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions. Document troubleshooting procedures for future reference. Supervise teams to gather and interpret user requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, providing innovative solutions and recommendations. Collaborate with various teams including network, application support, storage, database, and Unix teams to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems. Implement data quality checks and remediation processes. Contribute to the development and maintenance of data architecture standards and guidelines. Identify opportunities to optimize data processes and reduce operational costs. Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management. Provide regular project status reports and conduct performance analysis.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Leveraging Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), including Ab Initio or Informatica Platform on-premises and cloud platforms; Utilizing snowflake, and working with databases including, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle; Utilizing SQL to manage data and schedule backup processes; Utilizing AWS platform and database, including Snowflake or AWS Athena with S3, to extract and process data; Articulate and confirm ETL solutions to both non-technical business stakeholders and technical development communities; Driving key ETL architectural and design decisions; Working with high-availability architectures; and Managing data migration and Data Warehouse projects, including providing solutions for change data capture, bulk load/copy, and historical data load.
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
