Data Center Cable Technician
About The Position
Our client is seeking technicians to support a large data center project in Manassas, Virginia. The initial assignment is expected to last 8.5 weeks, with multiple additional projects underway and more bids in progress. The goal is to convert high‑performing consultants to permanent employees after they meet required hours. Offers are scheduled for 2/27, with onboarding needed as soon as possible to ensure completion of new‑employee orientation before 3/16. This role offers a strong long‑term opportunity with a high likelihood of converting to full‑time employment with the client. Onsite in a data center Construction‑style environment Full PPE required The client must increase headcount by 3/16 to meet project delivery timelines for recently awarded work. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA. The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of data center experience required to qualify as a Level 1 Technician.
- Less than 2 years is an automatic disqualification.
- Technicians must bring their own tools, including:
- Electrician snips
- Basic hand tools (Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, wrench set, socket set)
- Hand drill (preferred; can be provided if necessary)
- Fiber optic cable pulling
- Fluke testing
- Copper and fiber termination
